Social Worker - Children and Families - Swansea, Wales
This Team are looking for a qualified Social Worker to join their Children and Families Team in Swansea
You will have the opportunity in this post to contribute to the development of services to protect children and ensure that their needs are met. Working from the purpose built Family Centre you will play a lead role in providing services to support children and families on a single service basis, through inter-service programmes involving Social Work, Education and Health.
You will be required to take responsibilities for a case load and provide and develop programmes of assistance for children and families both within the Centre and on an out reach basis. You are an enthusiastic worker with the ability to network and maximise the opportunities to develop innovative practice. In addition to a good knowledge of childcare and child protection legislation, practice and research, a high standard of written and verbal communication skills are required.
This is a contract position with opportunity to be permanent.

Support Worker- Children and families - Wrexham, Wales
Are you a Support Worker looking for a new challenge in a Children and Families Team?
In this position you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of services to protect children and ensure that their needs are met.
Working from the purpose built Family Centre you will play a supporting role in providing services to support children and families on a single service basis, through inter-service programmes involving social work, education and health.
You will be required to assist with a varied caseload of both statutory and non-statutory work.
It is essential that you are dedicated and hard working as well as having excellent communication skills. It is required that you have some previous experience working with children.
This is a contract position. The employer is looking to pay around £10.00 per hour.
