Senior Social Worker - Children and Families - Shropshire , England
A new vacancy has opened for a Senior Social Worker to help manage this Children and Families Team.
As a senior member of the team, your experiences and knowledge of the needs of young children, young people and their parents/carers will be highly regarded and utilised. Dealing with the more complex and sensitive cases, you will develop holistic social care practice, identify service enhancements and provide specialist advice and supervision for a small number of staff.
Confident in your abilities and knowledge of relevant legislation, you will have a detailed understanding of the framework for assessment and methods of social work intervention. You must also have the ability to motivate staff whilst managing your own workload effectively.

Social Worker- Youth Offending Team - Shropshire , England
A new vacancy has opened up for a fully qualified Social worker to join this Youth Offending Team.
This is an excellent opportunity to bring your skills and experience into a dynamic and growing multi-disciplinary service which is enthusiastically embracing change.
They require committed, dynamic individuals, with a knowledge of child care regulations, legislation and procedures, who are interested in working positively with young people, communities and victims to reduce offending. You will work as a member of a multi-agency youth justice team in the development and delivery of innovative services across the region for young people involved in persistent and/or serious offending.
You main duties will include undertaking the risk of further offending and identifying individual need levels, using recognised instruments, in relation to the initial assessment. You will be involved in the continuous monitoring of service delivery, overall case management and taking responsibility for young people placed on supervision.
This is a contract position. The pay rate will be set between £22.00 and £26.00 per hour
