Our client is looking for a Fully Qualified Social Worker to join their Children’s Services Team in Devon
You will be required to deal with young people, children, parents and carers in their new developments and responding their needs with increasing speed and efficiency utilising E-referrals and technology on the move with tablet PC’s and mobiles.Plan support and execute various care plans and packages to make the service users lives as comfortable as possible.
You must be an enthusiastic worker with the ability to network and maximise the opportunities to develop innovative practice. In addition to a good knowledge of childcare and child protection legislation, practice and research, a high standard of written and verbal communication skills are required.

To be a successful applicant you will need the following:
• A recognised social work qualification.
• At least 2 years’ post qualifying experience in this field.
• Registration with the General Social Care Council.

Social Worker - Children and Families - Plymouth, England
This Team in Plymouth are looking for a qualified Social Worker to join their Children and Families Team.
You will have the opportunity in this post to contribute to the development of services to protect children and ensure that their needs are met. Working from the purpose built Family Centre you will play a lead role in providing services to support children and families on a single service basis, through inter-service programmes involving Social Work, Education and Health.
You will be required to take responsibilities for a case load and provide and develop programmes of assistance for children and families both within the Centre and on an ‘out reach’ basis. You are an enthusiastic worker with the ability to network and maximise the opportunities to develop innovative practice. In addition to a good knowledge of childcare and child protection legislation, practice and research, a high standard of written and verbal communication skills are required.
This is a permanent position and will pay between £26,000 and £36,000.
