Development Officer- Child Protection Sport Unit - Liecester , England
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the NSPCC’s innovative work in protecting children.
The Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) together with the Sport England is working with sports organisations to safeguard children.
As part of the national agenda to increase opportunities for young people to participate in out of school activities the CPSU is working with Sport England to establish effective safeguarding practices in those organisations providing activities. Resource development is also an essential part of this role.
The role requires a relevant professional qualification, direct experience of safeguarding work, up to date knowledge of law, practice and policy issues. This must be combined with experience of training delivery, analytical and planning skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
This is a fixed term contract position. The post will pay between £28,953 and £32,482 plus £1,200 car allowance.
